My Easter Swap Card for IWIA's meeting on 3-22-10

Ok Gang... what do you think of my Easter card?  Image is by The Angel Co., paper and inks are Stampin' Up! Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Orchid Opulence.  Background paper is Stampin' Up!'s DSP and I used the cuttlebug on the orchid paper. (Punches also by Stampin' Up!)

And yes... his fuzzy tail is flocked!

Stamp Club Night!!! 3-16-10

Another FABULOUS evening at April's Stamp club... http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/mystampplace/blog. We had so much fun and didn't leave Shawna's house until 10:30 pm!!! That's what happens when you get a bunch of gals together and they start chattin'!

Anywhooo... ok.. this is to die for. This is using Stampin' Up!'s Fifth Avenue Floral Set. Gotta have it... but don't order it until next month because it's going on special in April!!!

3-14-10 Eastern Shore Shoebox Swap

WoW!! This was a really terrific swap. It was at Stephanies house, who has the most amazing stamping space there is. A renovated 2-car garage with just the most amazing space. My husband would never be able to get me out of there if I had that much space.

Betsy... thank you so much for sharing the door prizes and being such a wonderful hostess, along with Stephanie. You guys are really wonderful and I can't wait to do this again!!

The cards were really fabulous, the women there were amazing, and it was a terrific way to spend a rainy day. Thanks for having us Eastern Shore Swappers!!!!! Can't wait to do it again!

Carly wore me out!

Oh my goodness... look at the mess on the table and the smile on her face!!! We were stamping our hearts out. Paper was just a flyin'! HAHAHHA! My little friend, Carly, spent the night at my house and we had a total girls night. Chinese food for dinner, ice cream for dessert and we stamped the night away.

We made all of the stars with the Cricut. Carly had never used it before, and she loved it.

And Carly had brought this to me last week... she luvs me!

And this fuzzy guy that is hanging next to my computer monitor. When you press him, it's a big SMMOOOOCH sound and it says I LOVE YOU!

Eastern Shore Swap Card 3-8-10

So what do you think? This is my swap card for the Eastern Shore swap coming up on the 14th... I have everything cut up for 20 people and I'm ready to go! Let the Stamping BEGIN!!!!

Gray Squirrel, Gray Squirrel....

It's not often that my husband, Rich, asks me to make a card for him... but when he does... watch out. He can be quite comical at work... and one day at work, as he was sitting at his desk, he decided to blurt out part of a nursery rhyme he remembered from childhood... Gray Squirrel, Gray Squirrel, Swish your bushy tail. The guys just started laughing and said "Where do you come up with this stuff?!!?!!?" He said it was a nursery rhyme. Sure enough, the didn't believe him, but... it's true...

Then... just so happens one evening we were watching tv and I said for some reason, I was just wanting some pistachio's. MMMmmm... salty pistachios..... My husband must have mentioned it to a fella he works with... Bobby T, or "Pops" as he calls him. Low and behold... Rich comes home with a 1lb bag of pistachio's. He said "Pops" got them for me.

Fun, Fun, Fun!

More fun stamping with my friend Lynn Ha. I honestly didn't get hardly anything done because I was so tired. But... Rich wanted me to make him two thank you cards, with a squirrel on it. This is one that I started working on, just the image so far. He is from http://www.whippersnapperdesigns.com/ Whipper Snapper Designs. They have some fabulous cutsie stamps!! I colored this with my Stampin' Up markers and blender pen on watercolor paper. A friend told me how to use the markers like Copics... so Copics, smopics!! I can afford watercolor paper more than I can the copic markers anyway.


Then Lynn shows me Tess... (from Stampin' Up). I call her Cheetah Tess. This is sooo gorgeous in person. I LOVE how she stamped the pants and purse onto patterned paper.. sooo cool!

And then for the finalle... she made this gorgeous Easter card that has pop ups in the middle. She literally did this with all punches...

The center, she has the punched out items on transparency, so you can see them "float".

I love spending time with my friends!!!!
