Oh yeah... slowly getting some stamping done.

I do have to say... having two puppies takes quite a lot out of a person. Especially these two puppies, because we treat them like our children.  Moose had another eye surgery on 1/12/11 to hopefully finish correcting his eye problem, and he had an eye removed, so needless to say, the medication, his stitches, and trying to keep the twins separated enough to not have any stitches break has been my main feat.  But.... alas... his stitches come out in two more days, and I have been able to squeeze in some stamping.

Here is Moose and Mai. Moose is on the right, Maiis on the left.

Awww... he has his arm around her.

This was so thoughtful. This is from my friend Brandy Boccia.  She is a SU Demonstrator (if you are ever interested in classes, you can contact her at ) This is using Stampin' Up's Just Buzzin By set.  Isn't this adorable?!?!?

I made this for my friends Lynn H. and Mary H.  This is using a CTMH set (current), and it is really adorable.

Now... my mother in law called me on Thursday to tell me she had something for me.  I go to her house and see this super bright pink board with all of these lines on it.  It's called The Ultimate Embossing System.  At first, I thought...  hmmm...  what in the world can I do with this. Well... it comes with a 3-hour dvd, which I've only seen maybe an hour of, and this thing is incredible!!!  I can't wait to play with it, but the pups take up so much of my time.
Sooo....  I thought I would try something quick.  Of course the woman on the dvd makes everything look super easy. That's because she knows what she is doing...  I have no clue! HAHAHAH!!!  I figured I would try something that looked super simple, and to my surprise... it was.  This isn't my best work, I did this as a quick card.....

Here is the front of the card...
And here is the inside of the card;
What do you think?  Not bad for a quick 5-minute k-card?  I used dental floss on the star, and it's actually two stars taped back to back with the floss in the center, so the star twirls in the center.  SOOOO nifty!! I can't wait to share this with my friends!!

Lynn's club with April's cards

Well... when I get together with friends to stamp, it's always fun.  Last night was Lynn's club night and she wanted to use the cupcake punch and the shakers and movers die.  This is what April brought for us to make. I love them!!!  Then again, there isn't anything April has done that I haven't liked.  If you like the cards and want to join one of April's stamp classes, you can contact her at

What a way to start off the New Year!!!

I am sooo thrilled!!! Thrilled isn't even the word... excited... super duper happy....  I felt like singing Ohh what a glorious morning.... oh what a beautiful dayyyy....  because I went to April's stamp class tonight.... everythings heading my way....  HAHHAH!!!

This is a terrific way to start off the New Year! Stamping with friends.  April, had the first of many upcoming stamp classes.  Tonight (you still have time to sign up... hee hee...), was Valentines!

So... here ya go... absolutely loved them.
Sorry for this one not being clear... the glitter paper keeps the flash shining off and not zooming properly. But it's gorgeous in person.
I soooo have to have this set, Valentine Defined...   love the flamingo's!
This was a fun spinner card... I put mine on Birthday to have some versatility.  But it definitely has to go to a girl/woman/lady/chick...

And my favorite...

The Angel Co. swap card

So... what do you think? I decided to go for girly and fun instead of my usual "floral or nature" themes that I love so much. The set is called Wonder and Joy.  I can honestly say, this was definitely out of my comfort zone.   I can't wait to get the rest of the cards from the swap.  I am hostessing this swap on SplitCoastStampers.  I will post the rest of them when they come in.
