Another Dustin Pike card

Here is another Dustin Pike digi stamp card that I did. The bug in the background is from Betsy The Beekeeper (Stampin' Up!). I am going to send him along with the Dudley dragon cards for a swap I joined. Yup... took two spots, but I love Dustin Pike. (Thanks Jennifer K. for turning me onto him and digi stamps!).

Snowed in is great!

Being snowed in is a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing is, I am all warm and snuggly. Bad thing is, I had to shovel 1' of snow earlier and now it looks like I hadn't touched it at all. Another good thing is STAMPING!!! YEAH!!! LOVE to stamp and now I'm getting into "Digi Stamps".

I found on the cricut.com website under community, a gal that is hosting a "Dustin Pike" swap. http://dustinpike.blogspot.com/ . I ABSOLUTELY LOVE his artwork. If you are into cutsie and love fun things, this is the site to visit. So here is my card for the swap;

Close up of Dudley-ette; (I flocked the peep... so cute!)

Card in its entirety;

And Rich has a co-worker that is kinda freaky about aliens. So I found this digital art from http://www.talonartstamps.com/Alienspage7.html

April's Technique CLub

Lots of fun as usual at April's Technique card class http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/mystampplace/about .

This is called Acetate & Tissue. I do have to say, you need gloves and this is messy;
I am going to have to do this again. This is called Cracked Glass. LOVE IT!! A bit messy, the UTEE goes everywhere....

Acrylic Smash. Not as messy... but really neat.

If you are interested in learning more techniques or want to join a stamp club, contact April on her website; http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/mystampplace/about

Everyone is getting in the spirit of Christmas. Can you believe it's 8 weeks away already?!?!? Where does the time go???

Well... being in the spirit, my two demo's are certainly on the right track. Christmas card classes galore!!!!! I LOVE IT!

And the baroque motif set. You just have to love this set!!!

SU's background papers are just fabulous.

And there's Dasher, pretending to be Rudolph

Simple, yet elegant;

HAHAHHA!! and I had to sneak this one in. Made by the talented, and beautiful, Stephanie Carabine. LOVE the drippy goo punch!!! Didn't she do a marvelous job?!?!?! Thanks again Steph!!!

10-25-09 Cards!!! Thank you Cards!

One of our members (Mary Ham) is not feeling well... so I thought I would break out my nestabilities (which I'm completely hooked on now), and make this cute card.

I made this with my nestabilities and then ran them through my cuttlebug. What do ya think?

And I just love this SU! set, bird on a branch. The branch I made using my Cricut. It's almost identical to the branch in the set.

Weekend to STAMP!!!! 10-24--09

Having sooo much fun and feelin' really guilty. Rich is tearing out the kitchen and has instructed me to stay out of his way. I was going to go to the ocean, but it was suppose to rain all weekend so I decided to stay home and lock myself in my stamp room.

Got alot done today... cleaned up the room, got a few Stampin' Up! sets together that I have just received (Autumn Harvest and Pocket Silhouettes), and made these cards.

This one is for the IWIA Stampers * Baltimore, MD * Christmas card shoebox swap, on Monday, October 26th. Saw this on SCS... so I can't take the credit. All I did was add the snowflake in the corner with the glitter. My contribution to stamping. HAHAHHA!!!

Then I made this one. Thinking of April's fall leaf card we had done like a wreath, I used that as my muse for this one.

And then there's this little fella. http://customcreationsbyjenn.blogspot.com/ My Friend Jennifer Kupiec has a wonderful blog and there is a Scrap, Stamp & Doodle challenge. Go to her website to see the challenge. This is the card I made. The image is a Dustin Pike digital art image. I LOVE his images!!!
