I made this card for my husband. It's honestly a long story, but we love Disney's Kung Fu Panda, and Po reminds him of me. But Po loved his Noodles and that is my nickname for my husband... so I made this card especially for him.

Cricut Cartridge - Cindy Loo
Ok... today I decided to mess around with my new Cindy Loo cricut cartridge. I have never done the frames before, well... honestly I haven't done much with my Cricut to be honest... But, I am trying and experimenting.
For instance... I do know that you can do a frame. However, you can not do a shadow for the frame. And I cut a paisley for this, but it cut it in the 4", as the frame size, so that didn't work either...
So here is what I finally came up with.
Stampin' Up! Element of Style
I fell in love witht his set because of the versatility in the stamps. The flowers remind me of toile. The hummingbird is much like many solid images that looked "kissed" with another image. And "For You" Can be for anything. All paper is Stampin' Up! The ribbon is from Michaels, got it for $1/roll. And I just love SU's new embossing folders!!!

April's Card Club - great techniques
We had #4 of 6 club meetings Tuesday night and these cards were terrific. Shawna was the hostess and picked 3 techniques, a reflection card, an acetate card and a dryer sheet card. Yeah... I was thinking the same thing..
If you are interested in taking one of April's classes, you can reach her at http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/mystampplace/
Thisis the reflection card we did... absolutely gorgeous!
This is the acetate card. The whole card is the plastic sheet, or transparency. It's really gorgeous in person. This does not do it justice.
And this is the dryer sheet card. Again, absolutely gorgeous in person, as the entire front has dazzling diamonds on it. Very sparkly and pretty.
I wish April had card classes every day!!! She comes up with some really terrific projects.

What a great girls day!
My day started early, driving to Hagerstown to see Karen and have brunch at Cracker Barrell. We've been friends since grade school.
Then... onto even more fun!!! Girls night stamping, even though I think we did more drinking and snacking than stamping... hahahhaha...
Here is (from left to right), Jessi, Lynn and Brandy.
This is my first, and probably last, card kit of the month. It's a great idea, but definitely not for me...
the left are the instructions, the right is my finished card.
and another card. made with the kit.
Thanks gals for a wonderful and quite full day!!!

April's Punch card class and more!!!
WoW... WoW and more WoW!!!! My very good friend April, http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/mystampplace/, had a Punch card class. If you haven't signed up for it yet, you hae to sign up for it. This is terrific!!!! Look at these wonderful and amazing cards!!!!
The lush at the bar... shaken not stirred... hahahhaha!!
Tropical fish love;
I did my baby as bald because I was bald when I was a baby and so was my son... she did offer hair.... hahahah
Funky monkey... this was soo much fun...
and the cream... de-la cream... the hoppy froggy!!! This little guy moves too!!!! This was by far amazing! Just absolutely amazing!!!
Now... I did this with my Doodlecharms cricut cartridge. I found ladybug background paper and just had to make this.... I made it in two different varieties. One bug and two...
And Lynn Haase had so much fun with the frog from April's class, she went home and made this monkey today!!! Is this the most adorable thing you've seen or what?!?!??!
GORGEOUS!!!

Cute as a bug!!!
Here is a little more late night inspiration... I love my Cricut - Doodlecharms cartridge. I have to admit... I'm not very good at the whole layering or paper piecing thing... but I am getting the hang of it.
So I was looking through my patterned paper drawer and saw this paper, and thought... i have a bug just for this! HAHAHAH!!! What do ya think?

Playing around with the Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge. I thought this was fitting to match the Stampin' Up Sweet Scoops set. Certainly Celery on Chocolate Chip.

Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge
I just bought the Doodlecharm Cricut Cartridge and last night was inspired to play around. I love ribbon (as my friends know). I don't use it, love to horde it... and saw that I had paw printed ribbon.
So last night I played around with my cricut, which I am VERY inexperienced with, and this is what I came up with. Let meknow what you think....

April's 7-1-10 Stamp Club
Last night was the start of a new club with April. So yes, that makes 2 clubs that I am in of April's. Besides her being a great friend, her cards are absolutely amazing. If you are in the Baltimore area and want to join a club or hostess a workshop from her, you can reach her at http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/mystampplace/blog
Lynn Haase was the hostess last night. The great thing with April's class, she asks the hostess what she wants to do. These are the things that Lynn wanted to do;
This is a gorgeous card using the new In Colors. You have to see this in person, absolutely gorgeous.
And then using the tropical party set with the Tropical Oasis DSP, really awesome.
And lastly, this awesome card with the bird punch. WE just love the bird punch!
Lynn was a fabulous hostess with tons of great food (she still needs to give me the hot beef dip recipe), and I had such a great time!!!
