Mug Organizer

Stampers and Scappers.... you have to check this out;

Her name is Amy. She makes these mug organizers and sells them for $10.95.  They are terrific!!! She can make them in lots of other fabric. She is making me one in ladybugs. YEAH!!!

She is also working on a card bag for me too, matching in the lady bugs.  It will be 6" wide by 5" tall by 3" deep with a flap/lid to go over it. Great to keep your cards in for the swaps.

Check out her website.  Her email address and phone number is on there.

For those of you in the Dundalk, MD area, let me know and when I get mine, I can pick yours up and bring it to the Dundalk Moose one Monday evening.

Don't forget to let her know Linda sent you.

Another terrific stamp day

My friend April taught us this technique to watercolor the roses.  Let me see if I can explain this. I looked on Splitcoast, but couldn't find the technique. I'm sure it's on there.

You will need;
SU shimmer paper
white embossing powder
heat gun
versamark or embossing pad
Reinkers of your choice in colors, I used 3 or 4 colors. You just need 1 or 2 drops of each
Aquamarker filled with water
Mist bottle of water
Something to hold the reindeer drops

Step 1:  Emboss the image on your shimmer paper.
Step 2:  Using the mist bottle, mist the image so there is LOTS of water on it.
Step 3:  Taking your aqua marker, touch one of the reinker colors.  Then touch the image.  You will see the ink magically "fill in" the image.  Keep touching it in different places until you are satisfied.
(I started with the lightest color first, then moved to darker)

Set aside to dry, or you can use the heat gun.  But, the heat gun will "move" the water.  Just a precaution.
Cut it out as desired.

Another evening at the Moose

I forgot to post this striped friend.  I made 8 of these one evening at the Moose Lodge.  The following week I happened to be at JoAnn's and found zebra 12x12 paper!!!!  Can you believe it. So expect more of these little things.

St. Patrick's Day card

As many of you know, I absolutely love Dustin Pike's images.  (His blog is here http://dustinpike.blogspot.com/ ).  And as a yearly member, he gave us some St. Patrick's Day images.  I love this one of the little guy sitting on the clover.  I made 4 of these.

Thanks Dustin for the terrific images!!

Yes, I put gold Stickles on his buttons. So cute!

Another night at the Moose

When I go to the Moose for our IWIA stampers night (which ALL crafters are welcome to come), I love making cards.  I typically make 8 cards that evening.  I have boxes for my cards, i.e. birthday, thank you, gt well, etc... so I have cards ready whenever I need to send one to a friend.  I made 4 of each of the cards below.

I love inspiration from other stampers.  I found this card from Sage Kimble, her website is http://stampingmadly.blogspot.com/

I thought this was absolutely gorgeous.  My favorite color is brown and I decided to do this in browns.  (Also because my color printer was on the blitz, and when I printed it, it looked more brown).

Here is Sage's card;

Here are mine;

Thank you Sage for the inspiration!!!

April's stamp club

I had club last night with April. (April Prachniakhttp://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/mystampplace/about). It was great to see everyone, stamp, laugh. Crystal had some really terrific food, including brownies with Reese's cups in the brownies!!! But I just smelled them. I couldn't actually eat them. HAHHAHA!

Here are the cards we made.

Thank you so much April !!! I had a great time. (As I always do when I stamp with my friends!)
